Áccent on Words is the business entity of freelance editor Deborah Jackson. She has more than ten years of professional experience writing, editing, proofreading and transcribing a wide variety of documents. She also has extensive academic writing and editing experience (dissertations, masters' theses, grad papers, journal articles).
She has edited and ghostwritten various types of books and other publications (for more information, see our CLIENTS page).
She also edits and designs websites (including this one, using a template), lays out interior book blocks, and designs book covers.
She has written newspaper articles and currently writes and edits e-newsletters and press releases for clients on request, according to Associated Press style and, if requested, designed to the standard of a particular PR website.
Deborah Jackson earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from the University of Washington in Seattle. She also earned multiple awards for excellence in newspaper writing and copy editing and in on-the-spot competitions in journalism while at Los Angeles Pierce College.

Áccent on Words would like to introduce our new associate editor/writer, Reina Kutner. Reina has more than seven years of experience writing, editing and designing for newspapers and books, at both the local and national levels. She is available for writing and editing press releases, advertising copy and articles, as well as for long-term projects.
Reina graduated from California State University at Fullerton with a bachelor of arts degree in communications/print journalism.
